Fortified Wine

Sommeliers love a great glass of something fortified. The range of styles, flavours and textures are a treasure trove when it comes to surprising and delighting a wine lover.

Such is the diversity and quality of these wines that they increasingly feature prominently on wine lists as sommeliers look to offer their top picks.

The fortified wine category on a list allows the sommelier to show their creativity and originality.

That’s why at Sommelier Edit Awards the judges will be seeking out the most delicious Sherries, Ports, and Madeiras to showcase to their peers.
