Daniele Arcangeli is an experienced Italian Sommelier based in London; he started his professional path in the hospitality industry in Tuscany more than 20 years ago. Endless passion around wine, beverages and foreign languages led him to travel the Europe and work alongside great professionals and renowned Michelin starred Chefs; working as Sommelier, he achieved the expertise to all aspects wine service related as well as managing all the beverage business operations, training staff and design wine lists.

Daniele is Certified Sommelier at the Court of Master Sommeliers; during his career he was awarded as Best Sommelier of Tuscany in 2012, in 2015 he got the the title Best Sommelier of Italy, a national contest organized by Associazione della Sommellerie Professionale Italiana and in 2019 he had the honor to represent Italy at the Best Sommelier of the World contest held in Belgium by Association de la Sommellerie Internationale.

He has worked for iconic establishments such as Pierre Gagnaire** in Courchevel, Badrutt’s Palace in St.Moritz, Il Piccolo Pricipe** and Borgo Santo Pietro* in Tuscany; then he decided to move to the UK in 2018, he has worked in legendary venues where knowledge, research, guest care and attention to details are essential: the three Michelin starred restaurant The Fat Duck*** in Bray and for the famous private wine members club 67 Pall Mall in London. Now he’s working as Head Sommelier and Wine buyer at Angler* Restaurant in London.
