Before joining Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, Emmanuel was a chef. Over the next 20 years he worked his way up the ranks to Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, Head Sommelier and finally Food and Beverage Operations Manager at various establishments including the Oxford and Cambridge Club, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Edwardian Hotel Group and 67 Pall Mall Club.
In 2014 he was one of the UK’s top 12 Best Sommeliers. He is passionate about how wine can make you feel after the first sip. Wine has taught him science, history, tradition, and even nature throughout his career and he believes that drinking wine is all about the experience and the memories.
