Sarah Jane Evans is a Master of Wine based in London. A highly accomplished, award-winning wine writer and journalist, she is co-Chairman of the Decanter World Wine Awards, and a Contributing Editor to Decanter Magazine.
She is a former Chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine, and continues to be involved in drinks education and training. As a student she won the Robert Mondavi Winery Award for the highest overall marks in the MW Theory exam.
A writer and consultant, one of her special interests is Spain and Sherry. She’s Chairman of the Gran Orden de Caballeros del Vino, and a Certified Sherry Educator. She’ a former President of the Guild of Food Writers, and a founder member of the Academy of Chocolate, which promote fine chocolate.
