With a steep, self-taught learning curve honed by countless conversations with sommeliers over inspection meals, Tom has taken his property, The Terrace Rooms & Wine, to twice winning Star Wine List’s Best Rose List, winning Best New Zealand List and holding the only UK Gold Star outside London. He has quietly ascended Harper’s Top 50 Sommelier rankings, this year peaking at Number 6 and was also awarded Best Single Site on-Trade Buyer award at 2026’s Wine Buyer’s Awards.
